Autonomy in Decision Making

The Autonomy in Decision Making resources were designed for speech pathologists, allied health professionals, and teachers working with students with complex communication needs and provides schools and other with information and skills on how to support all individuals to improve their participation in daily decision making. 

These historical resources were developed in 2020 for the Unlocking Abilities Project, funded by the Non-Government Centre Support For Non School Organisations of Western Australia (NGCS), and have not been updated.

This information package is a collation of the planning, information, communication partner skill, and reflection documents developed as part of the Autonomy in Decision Making project.

This document contains a PDF file of the visual resources developed and used throughout the project.

This document contains an editable version of the visual supports developed and used throughout the project.  It is accessible to those using Boardmaker® software.  These resources were originally developed in Boardmaker Studio® and tested in Boardmaker 7®.
