Meet the Team: Mino Bahmani

Mino is the acting manager for our Goods, Equipment, and Assistive Technology (GEAT) Program, and has been at Indigo for three years - she is an excellent team player who is very passionate about her staff and team members, and works hard to ensure that the geat2GO staff are providing excellent care and services to our clients, other allied health professionals, and anyone who calls up the geat2GO line!

 

What does your role involve?

My role covers a variety of responsibilities, but primarily involves managing our fantastic geat2GO staff and overseeing reports while ensuring high quality service and compliance for our aged care staff and their clients. 

 

What do you like most about your role and working at Indigo?

The people, for sure! From the moment I received the phone call to interview, I knew how genuinely lovely everyone is.

 

Tell us about the most interesting project you have worked on during your career.

For me, this would be when I was the project manager for migration of the geat2GO phone services from Ring Central to Amazon Connect. The most interesting part was exploring all the features that Amazon offered!

 

Describe a memorable moment arising from your role.

This was so hard to pick just one, especially when I am very lucky to work with such a great team, with so much laughter and joy everyday. Getting to spend time with my team is the best part, and if I had to pick a favourite moment with my team, it would be from our team bonding day in December last year, where we went to a horror escape room. The highlight was being blind-folded to get into the room...

Together - as we face many challenges as a team, and often have to work together to find the most suitable solution.
