This role is part of the broader Corporate Services team who provides services to our Operational areas of Indigo and ILA.
The Role
Reporting to the People & Culture Business Partner, we have a part-time position (0.6-0.8 FTE – 22.5-30 hours per week). This is a great opportunity to start your P &C career and would suit an early career/ entry level generalist. We are looking for a P &C Administrator that will take ownership of administrative functions and continually look for ways to optimise and streamline our processes. The role will support the employee lifecycle and be involved in the diverse portfolio that we hold.
- Management and triaging of the HR inbox in a timely manner
- Assist in the management, triage and response of the Service Desk ticketing system
- Employment compliance reporting and management
- Assist in recruitment, selection and appointment duties
- Support and assist with on-boarding and off-boarding tasks
- Support the day-to-day management of the HR and e-learning systems
- Prepare/draft HR correspondence (eg: HR variation letters), maintain forms, letter templates and procedures & processes
- Other HR support duties
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be someone that has a keen interest in everything People & Culture and has good administrative skills and a keen interest to learn and develop in P &C.
The right candidate will have:
- A passion for everything People & Culture (people, data and systems)
- Capability to build relationships and effectively communicate with a customer service partnering approach to the business.
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail
- Well-developed IT skills (Microsoft Suite) with ability to learn new systems.
- HRIS, LMS or/and social media platform (eg: linkedin) experience (desirable)
- A high level of confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive information
- Ability to work independently with own initiative as well as part of a team
- Ability to work with incomplete information and take initiative to problem solve
- A continuous improvement mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude and flexible approach
