Whether you need a ramp, or a rail, with Indigo's home modification services, we can help you to live safely and independently in your home for longer.
Home modifications are alterations made to the structure, layout or fittings of your home so you can continue to live safely and independently.
Modifications may include:
- Changes to your bathroom and kitchen
- Installation of ramps and rails
- Adding magnetic safety locks and non-slip floor membranes
- Installing lever taps and handheld shower heads
- Changing doors to lever set doorhandles
- Improving lighting for low vision support
- Other accessibility changes that may meet your specific needs.
Home modifications could:
- Enhance independence and confidence around the home
- Increased autonomy in everyday activities like showering, toileting and meal preparation
- Increase your home’s safety and security without sacrificing ease of use
- Reduce your fear and risk of falling
When is a good time to consider home modifications?
Many homes are not well designed to meet the needs of older people or their carers. When areas of the home are a barrier to doing everyday activities comfortably and safely then it is a good time to look at how home modifications could assist you to adapt and overcome these difficulties.

Yes. We currently service 7 regions: the South West Metropolitan Perth area, as well as the Great Southern, Goldfields, Kimberley, Mid West, Pilbara and South West regions.
